How you can help:
As one of the significant post-war business sectors that changed the economy and our society, we believe it is important that the work done by market researchers and their clients is not lost. It will be of interest to many: for example, social and cultural historians, economists, academics, journalists and of course future generations of market researchers. AMSR, with your support, can continue our work to preserve the valuable and interesting books, documents, journals and papers on market research for future generations (such as opinion polls, TGI, qualitative projects).
By donating to the AMSR you become part of our community of endeavour and your generosity will be recognised on our website. The AMSR has no independent funding and relies on personal and corporate donations to keep its valuable work going. It costs around £35,000 a year to run and to keep all the materials we receive, as we have to make long-term contractual commitments.
What we can offer:
We have five classes of donor:
1 Friend: £50 or more
2 Best Friend: £200 or more
3 Silver: £500 or more
4 Gold: £1,000 or more
5 Platinum: £5,000 or more
We will record your name, or that of your company, on our website. We will also invite you to our annual meeting for donors and supporters. If you are a company and donate at the Silver level, or above, we will add your logo to our website and marketing material for the years in which you donate.
It would be particularly welcome if you are willing to pledge the same amount for three years, as it would support the long-term commitments we have to make for storing paper records and the online database.
