Donate to the AMSR

Would you be prepared to help AMSR achieve our objectives by supporting us financially? AMSR has no independent funding and relies on personal and corporate donations to keep its valuable work going.

Why we need your donation?

AMSR costs around £30,000 a year to run. More than half of these costs are for storage of paper records and for maintenance of the online archive. These are costs for which we have to make long-term contractual commitments.

It is possible to apply for grants from bodies like the Heritage Lottery Fund and educational trusts to cover the cost of specific projects, such as digitising Peter Cooper’s papers or preserving the early volumes of the TGI, but most grant-giving bodies do not provide funds for ongoing running costs. We therefore rely on the generosity of companies and individuals who support our aims and objectives.

Your benefits as a donor:

There are five classes of sponsor:
1. Friend £50 or more
2. Best Friend £200 or more
3. Silver £500 or more
4. Gold £1,000 or more
5. Platinum £5,000 or more

If you are willing to donate money to support AMSR, we will record your name, or that of your company, on our website. We will also invite you to our annual meeting for sponsors and supporters.

If you donate at the Gold or Platinum level, you will also be invited to an event where you will be able to learn more detail about the archive than is possible in a large meeting and to influence the policy of AMSR in discussion with our trustees.

If you are a company and donate at the Silver level, or above, we will add your logo to our website and marketing material for the year in which you donate.

It would be particularly welcome if you are willing to pledge the same amount for three years, as it would support the long-term commitments we have to make for storing paper records and the online database. Please consider whether you are prepared to support AMSR in this way.

Please fill and submit the form below if you want to donate to us. We thank you for your kind support.
