Effect upon our fundraising activities:

The Archive of Market and Social Research (AMSR) is a registered charity. We are totally reliant upon, and very grateful to, those who have donated and/or continue to donate funds, and to those who offer materials for inclusion in the Archive. We operate solely via unpaid volunteers.

Since the start of the pandemic in early 2020, we have temporarily stopped fundraising among new audiences. Specifically, we are not approaching those MR agencies and other entities in the industry that, for whatever reason, have so far not contributed to our endeavours. We feel this would be out of place in this uncertain economic climate.

We are, of course, still open for – and would readily welcome – any unsolicited donations, be they of funds via Paypal or of research materials (see section below).  We also warmly welcome new volunteers.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”24px”][vc_btn title=”Donate with Paypal” color=”danger” align=”center” i_icon_fontawesome=”fab fa-paypal” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amsr.org.uk%2Fdonate-to-the-amsr-2%2F|||”][vc_column_text]It is likely that this policy will remain in place until the beginning of 2021. Like so many, we hope that this pandemic is over as soon as possible without too many casualties and that we’ll soon see a semblance of ‘normal’ life return.

Donations of potential archive material:

During these challenging times we are ensuring the safety of all our volunteers by holding meetings by telephone or video conferencing. We are continuing to scan some material where it is feasible to do so from home, so even now, the Archive continues to grow and develop. Read more about how you could help here. But large scale scanning has been suspended until it’s safe to restart from our premises and appropriate social distancing measures are put in place. Any newly-acquired material is being securely stored until it’s possible to process it safely.

if you have any material you think ought to be in the archive, please download and fill in this form and email it to the address shown in the document. Please hold onto the materials until we can accept deliveries.

For more information see our page on contributing materials.

Thank you for your continued support.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]
